Sunday Services: Believers Urged To Uphold God’s Love For One Another

PRIMA

Given the two greatest commandments: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and soul”, and “Love your neighbour as yourself”, Christians have continued to be urged to uphold God’s love for one another, to live a positive and impactful life on earth.

We bring you a round-up of what transpired at the distinct Anglian Churches.

Derived from the book of Romans 12:9-21, the theme, “Church: a Community of Love”, guided the preaching at St. Stephens Kisugu COU.

The preacher of the day, Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa explained what surrounds the concept of love in the community, urging Christians on what to do to receive the love they desire.

Similarly, the service at All Saints Cathedral was guided by the same theme, “Church: a Community of Love”, from the book of Romans 12:9-21.

Rev. Rhona Ainembabazi emphasized the need to rid society of the concept of individualism and instead promote the Ubuntu spirit to promote God’s love.

Preaching to the congregation at Kakumba Chapel, Kyambogo University Rev. Eng. Dr. Emmanuel Mwesigwa encouraged believers to live in ways that positively impact society.

At St Francis Chapel, Makerere University, Rev. Hillary Jaffu desist Christians from upholding traditions that differ from God’s original commandments to man.
