Surrender And We Give You Amnesty – Government To ADF Rebels
During the recent visit to Kasese district, President Yoweri Museveni advised ADF rebels who are still hiding in eastern DRC to come back home before any more attacks are launched on them.
Leaders in Kasese have since backed the president on this move.
State Minister for ICT and National Guidance, Kabyanga Godfrey Baluku has requested the people of Rwenzori to back government on key matters of National Interest.
According to the ADF Peace Mission Coordinator Hon. Christopher Kibanzanga, two days from now, they will be receiving ADF rebels who have chosen amnesty over war.
Through Amnesty Commission Uganda, the Government of Uganda has been supporting ADF reporters who surrendered to the government by training them different skills and giving them seedlings including cocoa and coffee among others to boost their income at household level.
