UCU continues to Empower Central Busoga Diocese Clergy

As part of Uganda Christian University's (UCU) commitment to building the capacity of clergy and church workers, on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, the university's Church Relations Department commenced a two-day training for the clergy in Central Busoga Diocese.

Rev. Dr Richard Mulindwa noted that it is the institution’s responsibility as a provincial university to take the lead in equipping clergy with new skills and tools to enable them to work through and manage the ever-mushrooming challenges in the communities in which we live and serve.
“It’s our responsibility as a provincial university to lead in equipping our clergy. I am glad that the university prioritizes this and we shall continue executing related and more activities towards enhancing our capacity,” Rev. Mulindwa said.

Bishop Patrick Wakula of Central Busoga Diocese applauded UCU for its timely intervention.
He also called upon other dioceses to support the university during the upcoming UCU Sunday slated for September 29, 2024.
