Uganda Institute Of Professional Engineers To Train Their Fellows As A Way Of Securing Contracts From Gov’t
The Uganda Institute of Professional Engineers has announced that it will be training professionals in Uganda to compete in the market so that they are given big Government and non-government projects than foreign companies
According to them, this will be achieved during a two-day workshop with engineers from various East African countries that they are to hold soon.
Earlier this year, leaders of engineering departments from various East African countries met in Rwanda to discuss how they could benefit from opening borders and entering into genuine cooperation
In this context, each country was given the opportunity to explain to its partners what they can do and how they can benefit
The conference is set to take place on 7th-8th August at Hotel Africana and will be graced by the deputy speaker of parliament Thomas Tayebwa.
