Uganda receives 1000 oxygen cylinders from Denmark

The government of Denmark in partnership with the World Health Organisation has donated 1000 oxygen cylinder regulators and humidifier bottles worth USD 233,000 to Uganda.

The aid which was received by the Ministry of Health will contribute to case management while enabling adequate oxygen supply to severe and critically ill patients.

Minister for Health Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng who received the donation appreciated the Government of Denmark and WHO for the continued support, both technical and strategic to the COVID-19 response and overall health sector.
