Unity In Kampala Diocese Women's Leadership

Unity in leadership takes center stage in the Diocese of Kampala, where the Mothers Union and Christian Women Fellowship operate under one umbrella.
Elizabeth Carolyn Kikoyo, the President of both organizations, shares her journey of fostering unity and the fruits it has borne.
She also invites all to a transformative women's convention on January 25th at St. Luke Church of Uganda, Ntinda, featuring keynote speakers and inspiring sermons.
In almost all other Dioceses in the Church of Uganda it is rare to find the Mothers Union and Christian women Fellowship under one leadership. However in the Diocese of Kampala the two organizations are under one umbrella, a rare display of unity that has bred signs of hope among the unity circles of the church. Led by Elizabeth Carolyn Kikoyo, she describes this as a testimony and reveals the inspiration behind it in a one on one with COU Family Tv’s Luke Alinaitwe.
The Presidents notes that unity has been her call ever since she took leadership and gladly she adds, this has yielded good results.
On the 25th of January 2025, there will be a women's convention at St Luke COU Ntinda and this is being organized by Mothers Union and CWF Kampala Diocese as Elizabeth notes.
She highlights some of the activities that will take place including key note addresses from Can Ruth Senyonyi and a sermon from the Assistant Bishop of Kampala Rt Rev Fredrick Jackson Baalwa.
The purpose of the convention according to the President is for the attendees to be transformed. She calls upon people to attend the event on Saturday the 25th of January 2025.
