Luwero Boys Primary School has over 1000 students due to its strategic location in the heart of Luwero, However, Bumba Button the Headteacher of this School says that his School has many buildings with leaking roofs which heavily affects learners.
This situation does not differ from that of James Tumuhairwe the Headteacher of Ngoma Church of Uganda Primary School which has over 800 pupils with classroom buildings whose roofs were blown by winds 15 years ago forcing them to study under tree shades.
They say that this situation has made pupils uncomfortable during class times, especially in the rainy seasons something that has directly affected their grades.
These have appreciated the government for selecting them among the few 32 Schools that were selected to benefit from the Iron Sheets donated by the Ministry and promised to use them appropriately.
