Muslims In Fear Following Arrest Of Fellows On Terrorism Allegations
PRIMA
In a meeting held between Muslim heads, Kampala Minister, Hon. Minsa Kabanda, and KCCA ED, Dorothy Kisaka, it was disclosed that the muslim community is in fear after some of their people have been arrested for allegedly leading terror groups and practicing witchcraft.
This was at Nakivubo Blue School at Nakivuubo Blue Square in the city center.
Muslims leaders gathered at Nakivubo Blue School at Nakivuubo Blue Square from different parts of the country, to find solutions for the problems they face in the country in the presence of the Minister of Kampala, Hon. Minsa Kabanda and the Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Dorothy Kisaka.
Several Muslims have asked the Minister to help them on security issues as many of their colleagues are being imprisoned on charges of terrorism as well as being accused of practicing witchcraft.
On several occasions, the Muslim entity has been wrapped as the lead of terrorist groups including that of the ADF.
In response to the Muslims’ plight, Minister of Kampala, Hon. Minsa Kabanda advised Muslims to devise ways of getting off this negative read.
Away from that, he encouraged Muslims to take advantage of government wealth creation programs including PDM in a bid of pulling out of poverty as a country.
Kabanda also called on Muslims to put their differences aside, urging them to take on duties that will develop the religion.
The Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Dorothy Kisaka, in an effort to promote the authority’s Kampala Smart City initiative, urged all Muslims to get involved in social welfare.
